Introduction to Programming Roblox with Lua.
Remote/Zoom class.
Thursdays, 4-5 pm.
Grades 4-8.
Roblox is a popular gaming platform notable for its scriptability using the Lua programming language. (Lua is a flexible, high-level language not unlike Python, Ruby, Javascript et al.) We will learn how to animate and manipulate the Roblox environment to create fun 3-D minigames.
This remote class will meet via Zoom on November 4, 11, and 18, and December 2, 9, and 16. Students will need their own computer (Mac/PC only; Chromebook/iPad not supported) with Roblox Studio installed.
