Introduction to Programming Roblox with Lua.
Grades 4-8.
Monday, 4:00-5:00
Roblox is a popular gaming platform notable for its scriptability using the Lua programming language. (Lua is a flexible, high-level language not unlike Python, Ruby, Javascript et al.) We will learn how to animate and manipulate the Roblox environment to create fun 3-D minigames.
This class will meet in-person at the DEV/Lab site. Computers will be provided, although students may bring their own laptops if they would prefer to. Class meets on September 13, 20, 27, and October 4, 11, 18, and 25.
