9:00 am – 3:30 pm
A week-long Python coding immersion for Adda Clevenger students with little or no experience in programming! We will focus on the fundamentals of programming (data types, variables, flow control, functions, data structures etc.) by working through a series of fun projects. Students will build their own quizzes, MadLibs, games, and more.
We’ll also explore graphics generation via the venerable Turtle package, and discover the world of object-oriented programming by building our own console-based role-playing games.
Python is a great first coding language. It’s accessible but powerful, and happens to be one of the most widely-used programming languages in the world today.
