December 23: Mega Modded Minecraft
Grades 3-8.
9:00 am – 3:30 pm. $95.
Max enrollment: 10 students.
We’ve supercharged our Minecraft server with ten fresh “mods”–these add or improve the functionality of Minecraft. New features include: new biomes, blocks, materials, animals, items to craft (including hammocks), mobs, and even an entire new dimension to explore (“The Midnight”).
We’ll spend the first part of the day exploring some of the newly added features in build-only or Creative mode, then we’ll turn on Survival mode for those who want to try their hand at the full game. While the emphasis in this camp will be on fun, we’ll also spend some time with the in-game electronics kit known as redstone.
