If you don’t already have a household internet security expert, why not get them started today? In this workshop, we’ll dive into the web’s secret weapon: Developer Tools. We’ll peek inside the hidden workings of web sites, inspect and modify web code in-place, investigate tracking mechanisms, and learn how to spot fakes.
Then we’ll set up our own spoofed (copycat) web sites to trick and amuse our friends and family. We’ll also learn some silly Javascript tricks to add to our web pages that are guaranteed to bring some chuckles. It’s not April 1, but it should be!
