So many DEV/Lab students had fun building chatbots in Python that we think it’s time to test them in the wild. We’ll look at building and deploying chatbots into a real live Discord server. If you’ve never built a chatbot before, now’s the time! And if you *have* built them before, it’s quite a kick to see them working inside an actual web application.
Some examples of bots we might build: help bots, tone monitors, joke/meme bots, utility bots (to-do lists, anagram makers, calendar bots)–the sky’s the limit! Some light experience with Python, Javascript, or another similarly high-level language is recommended.
