We’ll be using Python to build full-blown desktop applications (programs) that run in their own windows—-with buttons, input boxes, images, menus and all that jazz! We’ll start off small with simple quizzes and calculators, then work up to message encrypters and games like the classic rock/scissors/paper and hangman. For nerdy inquiring minds, graphics support will be provided by Tkinter and/or PyQt.
Some light experience with another programming language (preferably Python) is required. Students must be enrolling in 4th grade in 2020 or above to register. No exceptions, sorry!
